Agriculture Show – Route Options
The National Roads Authority (NRA) in conjunction with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) wish to inform the public that the new East West Bypass from Hirst Road to Agricola Drive will be open for the day of the Agriculture Show (Wednesday March 5th) to help relieve the traffic along Shamrock Road. Please see graphic below.
Those going east can use the East West Bypass as an option to avoid the congestion along Shamrock Road. However, please drive with due care and attention as the road is still an active construction zone with a temporary road surface.
Traffic will be heavy and the road layout along Shamrock Road will be adjusted to accommodate the traffic for the Agriculture Show; so please watch out for traffic diversions and read the signs carefully as you navigate the area.
The NRA and RCIPS appreciates the public's patience and cooperation.
