The Godfrey Nixon Way Extension will stretch from the traffic lights at the junction of Eastern Avenue and Giodfrey Nixon Way, past the Blue Marlin restaurant and bar on Eastern Avenue, and end by Da Fish Shack restaurant on North Church Street. The Godfrey Nixon Extension will enable motorists travelling from Eastern Avenue and the current Godfrey Nixon Road, a shorter and quicker commute to the heart of downtown George Town.
Planning: Completed, gazetted as Boundary Plan 591 in November of 2018.
Construction: In Progress, Expected full completion of Section 1 from North Church Street to Diaz Lane expected to be completed by the end of 2022. The completion of the reamining sections is subject to land compensation elements.
