Shamrock Road Six Lane Widening

Hurley Merren and Crewe Road Widening project (6 lanes) is a complex multi-phase road development project that involves increase of lane capacity on the primary arterials and at intersections supporting these arterials.

The project began in 2019 with 3 lane upgrades to the Grand Harbour Roundabout, Red Bay Roundabout and Chrissie Tomlinson Roundabout.  The CUC Roundabout at Kings Sports Centre is also scheduled for a major upgrade starting in early 2024.

Travel lane expansion for roadways in between is being carried out in segments as the process requires complex relocation of utilities and the removal and replacement of boundary walls, fences, etc.
